The use of iodine concentrate in animal breeding

One of the main conditions on which depends the quality of produce and productivity of animal breeding is wholesale balanced feeding for the animals.

The absence or insufficiency in rations of life important biological active substance have negative effect on the health of animals productivity, conversion of norms and quality of finished products.

Amongst these substances a special place occupies the microelements most importantly iodine. Insufficiency of iodine in the organs facilitates the development of serious diseases.

The saturation of the organism of the animals with iodine normalizes the function of thyroid gland, improves thermal regulation, energy exchange and exchange of substance, growth and development of blood circulation, muscle activity. As a result of that the defensive function of the organisms increases against diseases, digestion improves, increase in the reception of drugs and activity is observed as the general dosage is reduced. Milk and meat of the animals are saturated with active natural iodine-ideal source of iodine for human organism.

The required quantity of iodine the animals get from the feeds and water. A good adaptation is achieved in the organism of the animals when they drink water enriched with ions of iodine.

For the saturation of the portable water with ion, iodine concentrate is used (raw material for the production of iodized feeding products). Iodine concentrate consist of biologically active iodine in the form of ionic complex with water. II Calculation of quantity of iodine concentrate.

Calculating the required quantity of concentrate, liter (A) for livestock raising, the formula used is:

Effective dosage of iodine in portable water for animals depends on their age and condition of breeding and season.

III Plant for automatic iodization of water.

In modern times in industrial animal breeding value system of water supplying is used. In majority of the breeding the use of biological added substance (BAS) is not practiced.

That is why the absence of the equipment of its application can be explained. The erection and installation of such equipment and the knowledge of its (BAS) use makes it possible to inject vitamins, drugs and other with water, what is always easy to do. A reduction in labour and equal distribution of drugs to animals is noticed. This is especially important during epidemics. Sick animals eat badly but drink water normally.

DOSATRON: is a plant which performs the automatic centralized dosification of water soluble substances on the whole animals (cattle, calves, e.t.c).

V Principle of operation of plant

Dosage plant "Dosatron" (4) mounted or installed on an existing pipeline for supply of water to the object (1) in accordance with bye-pass principle. With the help of iron lock (2) and flexible hoist (3) "Dosatron" (4) is parallely connected to the supply of water to the object (1).

At the start point iron lock (2) mounted on the pipeline (1) closed, at a closed range to the flexible hoist (3) opened. From the daily nominal capacity (6) through mechanical filter (7) and flexible hoist (5) "iodine concentrate" is sucked by the dosage plant (4) and strictly normalizes the main flow of water to the object.

The principle of operation of the dosage plant "Dosatron" depends on the use of pressure of water in the capacity of the only moving force. Put into action this way, it sucks BAS, dosing with the required percentage content, and then mixed with flowing water. The received solvent is directed through the main circuit. The productivity of the dosage plant is regulated in a wide diapazon and carried out by the workers of the company.
